Christian Paschoud, MBA, CFE
Christian Paschoud is the Managing Partner of Pivot Horizon Global. He works as an embedded Operating Partner, Interim CFO, or Interim COO, stepping inside organizations to take responsibility for execution and deliver measurable improvements in performance, financial clarity, and control.
A dual Swiss–U.S. citizen, Christian has lived and worked across North America, Europe, and North Africa, developing a practical ability to operate across cultures, governance models, and leadership styles. Fluent in English and French, with basic proficiency in German, he aligns owners, boards, investors, and management teams in situations where clarity, discipline, and trust must be established quickly.
Christian’s career began in North America in global markets and cross border operations for a high end industrial printer manufacturer, where he gained early experience managing international markets, coordinating across geographies, and navigating complex regulatory and commercial environments. He later moved into software and SaaS, building deep expertise in systems, data integrity, reporting accuracy, and scalable operating platforms that underpin disciplined execution and financial visibility.
His work subsequently expanded into asset and capital intensive businesses, including maritime transportation, logistics, plastics manufacturing, and industrial manufacturing. He was mandated to lead complex restructurings and multi site realignments in the United States, bringing distressed and bankrupt operations to IFRS standards in preparation for listing on the Swiss Exchange. These engagements required restoring operational control, rebuilding financial credibility, and aligning fragmented organizations under a single governance and reporting framework.
Furthermore, Christian has worked with non governmental organizations (NGO) on global banking and budgeting frameworks supporting micro loan and development finance in underdeveloped countries. This experience strengthened his ability to operate in environments where transparency, discipline, and stakeholder trust are critical. His work later extended into distribution and professional services, further broadening his understanding of different business models and operating dynamics.
Christian operates through clearly defined, time bound mandates with specific objectives, accountability, and measurable outcomes. He embeds directly within organizations to help owners, boards, and investors move from operational drift and complexity to control, alignment, and sustainable performance, particularly in cross border and high stakes situations.
He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Public Accounting, is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and has completed advanced certifications in private equity and private company governance.
